Lugane is located about 3 km from a small, mediaeval village called Sos, in the Albret of Lot-et-Garonne, Gascogne,- the region of D’Artagnan of the Musketeers, Fois Gras and Armagnac.

Lugane is, indeed, the answer to an “S.O.S.” by people who seek a true time-out, relaxing holiday surrounded by the beauty of nature.

The village is about equidistant between Pau, Bordeaux and Toulouse, so one can choose airports for the cheapest flights. Bergerac is a further possibility. The Atlantic coast, Biarritz and the great mountains of Pyrenees are only about 1.5 hours away, the Mediterranean coast about 2.5 - 3. So its really well and centrally positioned.

Lugane is situated in an interesting corner of the Lot-et-Garonne, which reaches into other, adjoining regions. The endless, little populated forests of the Landes with its Atlantic coast beaches stretching all the way from Bordeaux to beyond Biarritz, begin only 15 minutes away.
