About Sos - Lot-et-Garonne, Aquitaine 47170, South-West France Just eighty to ninety minutes drive to the west will take you to Bordeaux and the sunny surfing beaches are just eighty to ninety minutes drive to the west. A drive south leads you to the Spanish border, the Basque country; and to Pyrenees mountains (lots of fun winter activities) and Pau. Drive to the eastern side and Toulouse which is only about an hour away to Carcasonne and the Mediterranean. Sos is located in the south to the Lot-et-Garonne, near departments of Landes and Gers. The area has great access to airports of Pau Pyrénées, Bergerac, Bordeaux and Toulouse, the airports served by a number of UK and other European flight companies. Transport services as car rentals are essential in this area, they are commonly offered by different companies at those airports. Perfectly comfortable sunny weather makes you eager to spend time outdoors. The local famous restaurants offer a large assortment of dishes and wines from traditional French brasserie to fine haute cuisine. Enjoy local sport and relaxing attractions such as: open air swimming pools near Nérac, Mezin and Gaberret, for those who wish to have a relaxing experience visit Barbotan-les-thermes hot springs. Golf courses offered at Barbaste, Bon-Encontre and Guinlet (Eauze). Get pleasure from canoeing on the river La Gelise at Mezin and canal boats can be hired at Nérac. Kids will enjoy Parc Walabi near Agen, just 50 minutes away. For motor sport visit Nogaro circuit is 20 km away. Exotic Museums dedicated to (corks in Mezin) and to the (condoms in Condom) as well as the French national collection of water lilies and other magnificent gardens.
